Enhanced Model Reference Adaptive Control Scheme for Tracking Control of Magnetic Levitation System

Magnetic Levitation is a process in which an object suspended with the support of magnetic field. Despite being unstable system, Systems (MAGLEV) have profound applications various fields engineering. MAGLEV systems are sensitive, unstable, and nonlinear uncertainties always pose challenge Controller Design. As solution, adaptive controllers came into existence adaptation mechanisms to cover system uncertainties. In this study, simple, novel, effective approach Enhanced Adaptive Control scheme proposed for ball position control tracking System. The Model Reference Scheme (EMRAC) follows same phenomenon (MRAC) slight difference its strategy. consists Proportional-Integral-Velocity plus Feed Forward as structure modified version standard tuning rule used mechanism. applied benchmark System performance tested by applying square multi-sine pattern trajectories developed MRAC compared that Proportional Integral Velocity Feedforward (PIV+FF) proven be more suitable. also analyzed Power Spectral Density Root Mean Square Error evaluate control. It inferred from experimental results accommodates changes makes reliable good ability.
